Laundry Management Access Rights
Configure user access permissions from the user configuration page by assigning specific roles for laundry operations, including Delivery Boy, Dry Cleaner, IronMan, and Manager. These access rights help control user activities and ensure each team member can access only the required laundry management features.
Laundry Management Model
Access the dedicated Laundry Management application from the Odoo dashboard to manage complete laundry operations, including order processing, service workflows, customer management, and laundry-related activities from a centralized platform.
Washing Stages Menu
Navigate to Laundry Management → Configuration → Washing Stages to create and manage different laundry processing stages. Configure each washing stage with details such as stage name, stage number, service amount, and warehouse location to organize and track laundry workflows efficiently.
POS Configuration for Washing Stages
Configure laundry washing stages for products from Point of Sale → Configuration → Settings. Users can enable washing stages and select the required stages to track laundry service processing directly through the POS workflow.
Laundry Service Configuration
Configure laundry service settings from Point of Sale → Configuration → Settings. Users can set service type, pricing method, additional charges, and required products for laundry and home delivery workflows.
- Configure laundry service charges as Fixed Amount or Percentage Based.
- Set laundry service type as Urgent or Normal.
- Define extra prices and charges for laundry and home delivery services.
- Select laundry service products and home delivery products to be used in POS operations.
Select Service Type in POS
Select the required laundry service type from the POS order screen to process laundry orders based on the selected service workflow.
Select Laundry Services for Products
Select multiple laundry services for individual products in the POS order screen. After selecting the required services, click the "Add" button to apply them to the selected product.
Urgent Laundry Service
Select "Is Urgent" from the POS Actions menu when an order requires urgent laundry service. An additional charge is applied for the urgent service.
Home Delivery Service
Select "Home Delivery" from the POS Actions menu to add home delivery to the laundry order. The configured home delivery charge is added to the order.
Total Amount Based on Selected Services
The POS order total is automatically updated based on the selected laundry services, urgent service charges, and home delivery charges.
Display Laundry Services in POS Receipt
The POS receipt displays the selected laundry services, urgent service charges, and home delivery charges along with the product details, taxes, and total amount.
Laundry Order in the Back-end
Go to Laundry Management → Laundry → Laundry Order to view and manage all created laundry orders, including their customer, order date, total amount, and current status.
Laundry Services Smart Button
The Laundry Services smart button displays the laundry services applied to the order and provides quick access to their details.
Laundry Work Status
Users can view the Laundry Work list to track each laundry task along with its current processing status.
Laundry Work Assignment
Users can view the assigned manager, responsible person for washing or dry cleaning, and the planned hours for each laundry task.
Start Wash by Dry Cleaner Person
The Dry Cleaner can start the washing process by clicking the Start Wash button.
Stop Washing Process
Once washing is completed, the Dry Cleaner can click Stop Wash to end the washing process and record the wash start time, wash end time, and actual wash duration.
Start Iron by Iron Person
The Iron Man can start the ironing process by clicking the Start Iron button.
Stop Ironing Process
Once ironing is completed, the Iron Man can click the Stop Iron button to finish the process. The system records the Iron Start, Iron End, and Actual Iron Time for the laundry work.
Email Notification When Laundry Work Is Ready
Once the laundry work is completed, the system automatically sends an email notification to the customer informing them that their laundry order is ready for collection or delivery.
List of Laundry Work with Status
Users can view the list of laundry work along with the assigned responsible persons, wash and iron start/end times, and the current status of each laundry work. The status is updated to Done once the required laundry processes are completed.
Delivery Button in Laundry Order
Once the laundry work is completed, the Delivery person can click the Delivery button from the laundry order to proceed with the delivery process. The order also displays the Ready to Collection status before delivery is processed.
Print Label of Laundry Order
Users can print the laundry order label by clicking the Print Label button. The label can be used to identify the laundry order and track it through the delivery process.

Return Laundry Products
Users can return laundry products by clicking the Return Products button from the laundry order. This allows them to process the return of products associated with the laundry order.
Make Payment for Refund Laundry Order
After processing the laundry product return, the system creates a refund order with the returned products and applicable laundry service charges. Users can click the Payment button to process the refund payment and complete the refund transaction.
View Refunded Laundry Order
Users can view the refunded laundry order along with the associated Refunds smart button. The order retains the laundry service details and displays the refund status for easy tracking and reference.
Laundry Report Menu
Go to Laundry Management → Laundry → Laundry Report to open the Laundry Report wizard. From this menu, users can access the reporting options for analyzing laundry orders and related service information.

The Laundry Report wizard provides an All Entries option to include all available laundry report entries. Users can select the All Entries checkbox and click Print to generate the report.

Users can generate a summary report by selecting the Summary checkbox. After enabling it, they can specify the Start Date and End Date to define the required reporting period, then click Print to generate the summary laundry report.
