Manage User Roles and Access
Set user roles and permissions in Odoo to control access to hospital features and records. Assign access based on roles such as Doctor, Receptionist, Chemist, and Medical Group.
Healthcare Management Configuration
Set up important healthcare features from the Odoo Healthcare Management menu. Users can manage lab tests, diseases, imaging tests, medical procedures, health centers, wards, beds, operating rooms, and operational areas.
The menu also includes options for patient evaluation, medicines, blood bank, and healthcare reports, helping users keep all the required hospital information in one place.
Physicians/Doctors
In Healthcare Management > Physicians > Physicians, users can create and manage physician details such as name, ID, institution, specialty, and other related information.
Patients
In Healthcare Management > Patients > Patients, users can create and manage patient records. Add patient details and view related information such as diseases, surgeries, lab tests, medication history, vaccinations, images, and attachments.
Patient Card Report
Click "Print Patient Card" to generate and print a patient card PDF with important details such as patient information, contact details, blood group, and disease details.
Patients Medication History Report
Generate a Patient Medication History report to view the patient's medicines, reason for use, start and end dates, status, and assigned doctor.
Patient Vaccination History Report
Generate a Patient Vaccination History report to view the patient's vaccine details, dose, vaccination date, and observations.
Patient Disease Summary Report
Generate a Patient Disease Summary report to view the patient's diseases, severity, status, active or infectious condition, diagnosis date, and remarks.
Patient Lab Test Report
Generate a Patient Lab Test Report to view the patient's test type, doctor name, test date, and current test status.
Families
In Healthcare Management > Patients > Families, users can create family records and add family members with their contact details. This makes it easier to keep family information available for future communication or emergencies.
Prescriptions
In Healthcare Management > Patients > Prescriptions menu, users can create prescriptions for patients and enter details such as the prescribed medicine, dosage, quantity, treatment period, frequency, and other instructions. Users can also add insurance details, tests, images, and notes related to the prescription.
Users can print the prescription as a PDF report by clicking the “PRINT PRESCRIPTION” button. The report includes patient details, prescription information, prescribed medicines, dosage, treatment instructions, notes, and the doctor’s signature.
Deceased Patients
Under Healthcare Management → Patients → Deceased Patients, users can access the list of patients marked as deceased. The patient record shows important details such as the date of death and cause of death, making it easy to view and manage deceased patient records.
Appointments
In Odoo Healthcare Management > Appointments, users can create and manage patient appointments. The appointment record includes important details such as the patient, physician, health center, specialty, appointment date and time, urgency level, and consultation service.
Appointment Receipts
Users can print an appointment receipt directly from the appointment record in Odoo Healthcare Management. The printed report shows important details such as the patient, appointment number, date, institution, specialty, and health professional.
Appointment Invoice
Users can create an invoice for a Odoo hospital appointment by clicking the Create Invoice button. The invoice includes details such as the customer, invoice date, due date, product or service, quantity, price, taxes, and total amount.
Manage Patient Re-Visits
If a patient needs another visit, enable the Need to Re-Visit option in the appointment. Then, set the Total Visits and enter the next visit date and visit charge under the Re-Visit tab.
Re-Visit Charge Invoice
Users can create an invoice for a patient's re-visit charge from the appointment. The invoice shows the re-visit service, quantity, price, applicable taxes, and total amount.
Patient Hospitalization
In Healthcare Management > Inpatient Administration > Patient Hospitalization, users can create and manage patient hospitalization records in odoo. They can enter details such as the patient, hospital bed, hospitalization date, discharge date, attending physician, operating physician, admission type, reason for admission, and ward.
Users can also add nursing and discharge plans and manage bed transfer details. After entering the required information, click Confirm Registration to confirm the patient's hospitalization.
Patient Admission
After confirming the registration, users can click the Patient Admission button to admit the patient. The patient's status then changes from Confirmed to Hospitalized.
Users can also use the Print option to print the Patient Visiting Card and Patient Medical Certificate reports for the admitted patient.
Configure Patient Visiting Cards
Users can set the Number of Visiting Card in the company settings. This number is used to manage the number of visiting cards available for patients.
Go to Odoo Settings > Users & Companies > Companies, open the company, and enter the required number in the Number of Visiting Card field.
Print Patient Visiting Cards
Users can print a Patient Visiting Card from the patient hospitalization record. The visiting card includes important patient details such as the patient name, gender, date of birth, age, blood group, hospitalization date, discharge date, ward, and hospital bed.
The card also includes a barcode and registration number, making it easy for hospital staff to identify the patient's hospitalization record.
Print Patient Medical Certificates
Users can print a Patient Medical Certificate from the patient hospitalization record. The certificate includes important details such as the patient name, gender, blood group, date of birth, age, hospitalization date, discharge date, ward, and hospital bed.
It also provides space for notes, doctor signature, and date, making it easy to prepare a medical certificate for the patient.
Hospital Bed Transfer
Users can move a hospitalized patient to another bed using the Bed Transfer option. Select the new bed and enter the reason for the transfer, then click Transfer.
After the transfer is completed, the bed transfer details are added to the hospitalization record, including the date, previous bed, new bed, and reason for transfer.
Patient ICU Info
Users can create a Patient ICU Info record from Healthcare Management > Inpatient Administration > Patient ICU Info. They can enter the patient's ICU admission date, duration, discharge date, and other ICU details.
Users can also add mechanical ventilation history, including the type, duration, and remarks. After entering the required details, click Admit to admit the patient to the ICU.
Discharge Patient
Users can discharge a patient from the ICU by clicking the Discharge button. After the patient is discharged, the ICU record can be updated with the discharge date.
APACHE II Score
Users can record APACHE II Score details for a hospitalized patient from Healthcare Management > Inpatient Administration > APACHE II Score. The record includes the patient's registration code, date, age, and physiological information such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen level, blood pressure, sodium, creatinine, and WBC.
ECG
Users can create and manage ECG records for patients in Healthcare Management > Inpatient Administration > ECG. The ECG record can include details such as the date, registration code, lead, axis, rate, pacemaker, rhythm, PR, QRS, QT, ST segment, T wave, and interpretation.
GCS
Users can create and manage GCS records for odoo hospitalized patients Healthcare Management > Inpatient Administration > GCS.
Create Imaging Request
In Healthcare Management > Imaging > Create Imaging Request, users can create imaging requests for patients. The Imaging menu also allows users to manage all requests, draft requests, confirmed requests, completed requests, and canceled requests.
Confirm Imaging Requests
Users can review an imaging request and click Confirm to move it from Draft to Confirmed. The request shows details such as the patient, test, test date, physician, and urgency.
After confirming the request, users can click Create Result to add the imaging test result. The result can also be created from the Imaging > Imaging Test Result menu in Odoo Healthcare Management.
Pediatric Symptoms Checklist
In Healthcare Management > Pediatrics > Pediatric Symptoms Checklist, users can create and manage a Pediatric Symptoms Checklist for a child. The checklist allows healthcare professionals to record the child’s behavioral, emotional, and social symptoms using predefined responses such as Never, Sometimes, and Often, along with the overall PCS Total score and additional notes.
Newborn
In Healthcare Management > Pediatrics > Newborn, users can create and manage newborn records and capture comprehensive newborn information. The newborn record includes main details, APGAR scores, reanimation details, neonatal signs and symptoms, neonatal reflex checks, congenital diseases, medications, and test results.
Users can also enter the newborn's birth information, mother and doctor details, weight, blood type, Rh factor, hospital bed, ward, and discharge information, along with clinical findings and treatment details.
Newborn Card Report
Users can print the Newborn Card Report from the newborn record to generate a concise identification card containing the newborn's ID, name, mother's name and ID, date of birth, gender, weight, and height, along with the company details.
Lab Tests Results
In Healthcare Management > Laboratory > Lab Tests Results, users can create and manage laboratory test results for patients. Users can also create a new laboratory test directly from the Draft Lab Requests record by clicking the “CREATE LAB TEST” button and entering the required test details and test cases.
Lab Tests Invoice
Users can create an invoice for a laboratory test by clicking the “CREATE LAB INVOICE” button. The generated invoice includes the patient details, invoice information, laboratory test service, quantity, price, taxes, total amount, and amount due, allowing users to manage billing for laboratory services directly from the lab test record.
Patient Ambulatory Care
Under Healthcare Management > Nursing > Patient Ambulatory Care, users can create and manage patient ambulatory care records and enter the required details related to the patient's care and treatment.
Invoices
Users can create and manage invoices for various healthcare services, including lab requests, lab tests, appointments, and prescriptions. This allows odoo healthcare providers to centralize service billing and track invoice details and payment status
Surgery
Users can create and manage surgery records by entering the surgery description, surgery classification, and other relevant surgical details. This helps healthcare professionals maintain organized records of planned and performed surgical procedures.
Manage Blood Bank
Users can manage the blood bank under Healthcare Management > Blood Bank. Users can create blood donor records, select the donor's blood group, and click the “DONATE” button to record the blood donation and update the blood bank inventory.
Confirm Transaction
After clicking Donate, users can enter the blood quantity in the transaction wizard. Click Confirm Transaction to record the blood donation in the odoo blood bank.
Take Blood
Users can click the “TAKE BLOOD” button to record blood being taken from the blood bank. This helps users manage blood stock and keep the blood bank records updated in Odoo Healthcare Management.
Buy Blood
Users can create a blood purchase request when blood is needed from an external source. They can enter the required details and submit the request to manage the blood purchase through Odoo Healthcare Management.
